My first accreditation model is sweet Lilyanna. She slept the whole time... Almost. Even peed on my arm. lol. She was so cute I had to blog about it. I love meeting new parents with so much love for their new little one. The mom and dad radiated with love. Congrats to the new parents.

Today is all about babies. They are funny, squishy, exhausting, and loving all at once. Gotta to love those babies. Every session is very different from one to the other. We have the quiet babies, the active ones, and the ones that want nothing to do with photography. But in the end, they are a joy to work with. So, my next blog post will be about the images from 3-11 months old. For now, I am off for the day.
Okay so i thought i would be busy in May but so far it seems a little quiet. So i posted adds in Kijiji. Let's see how that pans out. I almost forgot. Here is your first look at the new business cards.

Maternity
As promised, I am keeping up my blog today:) First off, I decided to divide my post in categories. So for today's post let's start with maternity. Might i say it is one of my most favorite session. It can be a very regular session outlining this phase in your life or it can be a more intimate session where it is all about Belly Love. I'll post example of these a little later.
I want to say one thing about maternity... Miracle! It's a miraculous journey, really! Why it is one of my most favorite session is very simple... I want to portray the anticipation and deep love each women feel for their unborn child. I want to show how dad's connect deeply with their future princesses or ball players. And mostly, I want to immortalize the deep feelings that parents have towards each other.
So, here it is. My first maternity post. And to all Mother's to be... Enjoy this 9 months journey towards the greatest miracle of your life.
Okay, Okay! I know. I haven't kept this blog up. I hated the layout or design and I never really tought about it. So my goal is to at least log on once a week. There is a lot of new things that has happened in the last few weeks. I'll be blogging about it in the next few days. In the meanwhile, I haven't forgotten you all and I am working on the layout for the blog. So have a good night all and in the meantime here is one of my latest work!
It's been a crazy week. Finally, i am starting to see the contract fly off my pile of to do. I should be finished all my contracts before another weekend of shooting. I love what i do. I love the end result. And what's even better i don't see the time fly by. I'll be posting more photos soon.
It been a pleasure to take photos of sweet baby girl D. She was 7 weeks old and wide awake. At time, i was sure she was trying to have a conversation with me. Maybe something along the lines of "why are you wrapping me up in those blanket of yours, i like my hands to be free." She slept a little and held on tight to her nookie. Previews to come soon.
Yes... I am a woman. I love being a photographer. What i wasn't sure about is all the networking. And Yes i conquered my fears of being in a large group of people. I decorated my table with a basket and some beanies that i use in my photography. I gave out quite a few cards and made a few vendor contacts. So what does it mean for NMA Photography... Love doing it and will do it again!
Finally. I am now the proud owner of my own domain. Here is the new web address: www.nmaphotography.ca . The new website is almost done. It's been hard work and again it's been a long process. Sorry about the inconvenience for those trying to access the family and wedding site. I personally believe that it is better and more functional than our old site. The goal is to have everything finalized by monday. So good weekend to all.
It's been an interesting year so far and seeing it come to a close is a little sad. However, I have great plan for the 2011 year. First, create a new website with a new price list. I also will be updating my business card and ads over the next few months. I am preparing to make this business official. In two words, it will be a busy, stressful, and mostly enjoyable year doing what i love. Let's see where things lead me. Thank you to all of you who came to me with the belief that i could provide beautiful photos for your families. It was my pleasure to offer the great deal i had in 2010. However, all good things must come to an end and eventually i have to consider getting paid for what i do. 2011 is that year. If all goes according to plan September 2011 will have our new price list up. I still want to donate some of my time to special organization. I am still considering which ones at the moment.
On a last note. Happy New Year everyone! Let's welcome 2011 in a safe and fun way. I hope to be able to provide you greater and better service in 2011.
I've been busy editing some halloween shots lately. I've work on a few hats and diaper covers for my newborn shoots. And as of today i'm getting ready for a Newborn baby boy session tomorrow. Some photos to come. Have a nice day everyone. And please remember that i am still looking for models in newborn, family, weddings, and engagements.
